I was meant to live the tropical life.  As a child growing up in New England, I dreamed of our short summers in the midst of our long winters.  Of course, New England is a simply beautiful area of the country, and is filled to the brim with history and culture, not to mention the Red Sox and the foliage in Autumn, but I just love living in warm weather all year long and feeling those sweet, warm tropical breezes even in the heart of winter.

I didn't even know about that place going by the name of Florida until I was a teenager.  I guess my parents were afraid that I would run away if I knew.
